What do y'all think about this?

Aaron Suttles ?@AaronSuttles Less than two months before National Signing Day and #Alabama is at 19 commitments. Odds are this class will not reach 25 signees.

If it's not 25, it'll be 23 or 24. Just depends on how many of the remaining targets we get:

We're going to try to sign at or near a full class every year.

I've felt this was true for a while. Small senior class and not a lot of processing candidates. Plus a slightly down year in recruiting

I mentioned this the other day and an "insider" said to trust him that we would get 26..the numbers just don't add up..we would have to lose about 7 or so to attrition after the 3 or so juniors declare.

I am with you..Most of the rising seniors are contributors but a few.

If anyone on here claims to be an insider, don't believe them.

Rule of thumb, less disappointments and less egos.

Numbers also don't add up as far as who is left on our board. This is just a '10 type year. We missed a big fish and had another try to screw us over. In recruiting, groundwork is laid early and we put a lot of eggs inbthose baskets

True. You're better off listening to non homers who can add 2 and 2. They're probably more reliable than real insiders

I'm insider too.

She's got another hole, so I think there can be 3 insider.

We lose more than that every single year.

If I'm not mistaken, CNS has only had 1 signing class at Bama or LSU that wasn't at least 25: 23 in 2011 and it was 25 when you count the 2 greyshirts from the previous year.

If we get Foster tomorrow, I could see us finishing with Beckwith, one out of Hill and Tunsil, and one out of Ramsey and Bell. Best case scenario is that we close with 3 5-stars.

However, I'm not completely ready to shut the door on Nkemdiche, Liner, and Rueben. If they give our staff notice that they are gonna commit, then we will make room.

The class of 2014 will be extremely heavy at the OL, LB, DL, and CB positions. I think we only accept truly elite players moving forward in this years class.

We would also make room for Tim Williams if we think he will qualify.

Liner, Foster, Hill, Bell. Does that put us at 23? That's how i think we finish

3 5-stars and one 4-star? I'll take it.

if we landed those with what we already have, that would be a class to rival 2008. Take into consideration that some of our guys are still ridiculously low in the recruiting rankings (henry, tyren jones, etc..) i would call that the best class in the country

I agree with the last few posts. So if the magic number is 23, and we take four commitments in the next month or so (or however many the magic number really is), what happens if Nkemdiche then decides he wants to roll with us? Process?

Respectfully disagree. If we finish with that then I think our recruiting years go

1. 2008
2. 2009
3. 2011
4. 2012
5. 2010
6. 2007
