We should tell Reuben he can flip back, and then refuse to accept his LOI in February.

Taylor already has 10000 doesn't he?

Taylor has a shot to become the all-time national leading rusher, but the National Federation of High Schools uses totals from grades 9-12 in determining records. Throw out his eighth-grade season and Taylor has 8,454 yards. That’s 2,779 yards shy of the mark (11,232) set by Ken “The Sugar Land Express” Hall in 1953.

he looked horrible in last nights loss to Carver. Even the espn recruiting guy commented on arm tackling and being out of position and not being able to shed the blockers. He may be moving down the rankings if they update after the season

If he doesnt move down and way down after that showing they should just scrap the rankings they have.

if they don't lower him it will be based on his talent potential with good coaching at the next level. Good coaching at AU is an oxymoron I say

They would have to be insane not to or really really love Auburn. They gotta realize that Chizik and Co are walking a fine line. Auburn is not hurting for talent, they recruit with the best, the coaches have no ability to develop the players they sign however. The only kid they signed out of HS they have developed has been Lemonier.
I would only want Liner out of the Barn's class.

Dee is still pretty talented or else BAMA staff would've given up a long time ago

Whats the word on carl lawson an dee liner ?
Posted on 10/9/12 at 5:52 pm to alabamawalker
If we took Carl lawson how would that affect the incoming guys that were already told they could play Jack
Posted on 10/9/12 at 6:10 pm to Tide or Die87
have we even shown that we would take him if he flipped?

We're short on Jack LBs and could easily absorb 3 in the '13 class IMO. Wanted 2 in '10 - Alfy Hill got screwed over. Wanted 2 in '11 - missed on Clowney after NSD. Wanted 2 in '12 - missed on Jordan Jenkins.
And there's no guarentee that the 2 we have for the '13 class will wind up at Jack. Both will start there but there's been speculation that Walker could eventually be a DE and Allen an ILB.

Your completly right because we start two Jack LBs. Probably not how Saban wanted it but it works.

De'Runnya Wilson news:

Really want to see this kid get an offer, especially with Deon Johnson having those legal issues.
quote:
Wilson confirmed on Tuesday he now holds at least one SEC offer from Mississippi State. UAB has also offered along with Alabama State and Louisville.
quote:
Cheatham said he was stunned just like recruiters by Wilson’s athletic ability at that size. Wilson, who favors the chance to play at Alabama, has already visited Tuscaloosa this season.
quote:
Wenonah’s coaching staff has credited Wilson with seven catches this season for 201 yards and six touchdowns.
quote:
“How many 6-foot-6 receivers do you see in the SEC?” he said. “I don’t see too many. Especially not ones that can go up and get a ball and then throw a guy off him and then throw another guy to the ground who’s trying to tackle him. He’s that tall, but he’s really an athlete that can do a lot of things. We put him on defense and he’s out there getting sacks when we do.”

Only 7 catches? Do they have a shite QB or run an option offense? Regardless...the guy seems like an athlete and at the very least he could be a great red zone target
