Another reason to like 247 sports, none of their rankings are influenced over a sponsor.

And then theres the headline on ESPN, -Henry, Taylor combine for 585 yards, 7 TDs- like their performances were on the same level lol
WOW didn't see this SMDH
Bama fans can rest on the fact that this year we have the 2 best RBs in the country committed
On a side note...hearing great news on Vonn

Bucc, who do like better between bell and connor?
Looks like they can both play from the film but Tony has better size. Are we conceding him to a miss school? Didn't think we would take 2 safeties in this class

Not Bucc, but from what I gather we are recruiting them for different positions. Bell is being recruited at CB, whereas Connor is a safety. If they were both being recruited for safety, I would put Connor above Bell, but apparently Bell is very fluid and more suited to play corner.

TY for having my back TS...he's right Bell is more of a CB & Conner is a S
Top S on the board is Holland Fisher, then Conner

So who will most likely be our next commitments?
Posted on 10/3/12 at 3:00 pm to alabamabuckeye
Roc possibly Holland Fisher in a few weeks, Vonn had a great time but he's still waiting till NSD I believe

Someone said on Rivals that A'Shawn Robinson is Bama-bound. Anyone know anything about that?
Posted on 10/3/12 at 10:43 pm to RollTide1987
He has stated that he will visit Bama. That's all I'v heard.

I was really high on him because i wanted a stud D lineman but it seems as though he would probably be a o-lineman

The Scout 300 for the '14 class is out: LINK
8-12 of the top 60 looks realistic with the way things stand right now but I know a lot will change over the next 16 months.
In-state class is great at the top but has almost no depth.
The DB class is just sick in '14 especially around the southeast + Texas.
I predict USC, Bama, and LSU will have 3 of the top 5 classes.

Any news on how Jalen Ramsey's visit went on Saturday? Bone posted a note about it sometime.

247 snippet -
quote:
Vonn and Jalen were in Tuscaloosa this weekend for unofficial visits and sources close say the visits couldn't have went better.
Jalen is now a Bama-UF battle (Bama has significant lead, but he has a teammate committed to UF)
Defensive backfield looking like we are gonna clkean up after this past weekend, very strong possibility we land Ramsey, Vonn Bell, & Holland Fisher

I believe in you Bucc but thats some serious shite right there you just said.

Vonn is who I am the least confident in landing, but we made up SERIOUS ground with all 3 this past weekend. We can now pitch a 1st round DB and a top 15 possibile draft pick at DB this year with Milliner. A top 10 pick at S

Derrick Henry sets national record in Yulee's shutout win
quote:
Alabama Derrick Henry sets national record for the most consecutive 100-yard rushing games in national high school football history. Friday’s game marked the 40th 100-yard game for Henry.
quote:
Henry also moved into fifth place all-time on the national high school rushing list when he used a 65-yard touchdown run to pass Toby Gerhart (9,662 yards at Norco, Calif. from 2002-05) and Terrance Wilkes (9,668 yards at Jamestown Ragsdale, NC from 2001-04) on the same play. Henry now has 9,807 career rushing yards. Henry finished with three touchdowns.
quote:
Fast facts: With 190 yards rushing, Henry is now just 193 yards away from joining the prestigious 10,000-yard club. Only four other running backs have ever rushed for 10,000 yards in a high school career.

With Auburn being certified as an official dumpster fire by the Dumpster Fire Institute of The Americas, will any of their commits reconsider? Any that may want to come to Bama? Will Bama have room?
