I am curious if Bone has a clue here for two reasons. First he says HIll will go to Hargraves but Powers is saying he will attend Milford where McNeil is going in NY. Than Bone puts an article out there to suggest that Hill may also look at other schools for enrollment in Jan. But yet the new SEC rule mkaes Hill still part of the recruiting class and the only school he can be an EE is UA in Jan. If he looks elsewhere he have to wait until next fall. Which may be the case if he can not get his grades in order or maybe UA will release him.

Bone isn't saying Hill is going to Hargraves, he's quoting Hill saying that he's going to Hargraves.
And I haven't seen where Bone suggested that Hill may look around at other schools. Hill suggested that other schools will keep recruiting him but he's solid.
I'm not 100% sure how things work with the new SEC rule, but I do know that once a signee fails to qualify it voids the signed LOI. I don't think there would be anything stopping that prospect from then enrolling in a different school in January.

Today must be Pro-Saban Article Day. First the SI piece and now this one from ESPN:

quote:

The truth is Nick Saban and the Alabama coaching staff recruit with simple facts and statistics: one SEC title, two national championships, 18 first-team All-Americans, 24 NFL draft picks -- 11 coming in the first round. All that since 2008.

The sales pitch has produced remarkable returns. Alabama is the only school to finish among the top three of the ESPN class rankings in each of the last five years

quote:

"The one thing about Coach Saban's staff that they do better than anybody is player evaluation," Luginbill said. "They treat it like pro personnel. It is a very defined blueprint of exactly what they're looking for."

quote:

"That's the difference right now between Alabama and everywhere else," Luginbill said. "Somebody else may rotate another guy in there and it's not the same guy talent-wise. Alabama rotates guys in there and it's like, All right, here comes another crew.' "

Five Star Recruiter: Nick Saban has turned Alabama into the top recruiting program in the nation

Per his mouth yesterday, Hill is going to Hargrave.

Good find 2bits. I like him a lot too. It's a shame that the drama queens and head cases get all the attention in the recruiting world and the solid, drama-free types rarely get any.

Hearing that #Alabama commitment Darius Paige should find out soon about his eligibility to play at Foley. Signs are good, but still waiting
