Tebow looked Terrible against Hoover though can't judge a player by games like that, HUGE talent gap between Henry's team and that team.Would be like TR playing for Northern Colorado and trying to run against Bama's D, he's a great rb, but he wouldn't do well under those circumstances.

I'll admit that it is risky to base an evaluation of a player off 1 game film. Maybe he wasn't 100% healthy that game. But the quality of the opponent had nothing to do with my evaluation of him.

And the NCAA and AHSAA have been notified.

Yep, though I'm not sure why. If he meets AHSAA eligibility requirements then he will play football for Foley this fall; if not, then he won't. I'm not aware of any NCAA rule prohibiting a coach from recommending that a commitment transfer to a school with better academic support. Of course it's a violation if we got his family a house and/or job in Foley, but I seriously doubt we'd be stupid enough to do that.

I can't read the full 247 article, but from the teaser it would appear that Brandon Hill is headed to Prep School. Can anyone with full access provide any additional details like when he hopes to enroll at Bama?

Vadal Alexander, Dillon Lee, Kurt Frietag, and some other lower profile recruits went D1 just in the 2012 class, they have a lot of underclassmen that will be just as good.

Hill is going to Hargrave. Couple of grades submitted late and still small chance to be cleared. If not cleared earliest he could enroll at Bama is January.

Thanks.

January would be good. I was just worried he'd have to go to JUCO for 2 years. I want him here next year competing for the RT spot assuming Fluke goes pro.

He said he's focusing on Pitt, Ohio St, and Virginia Tech

Aaron Suttles thinks that if distance from home isn't a factor, that Robert Foster is all Alabama.

Foster said that distance isn't a factor, I guess we'll find out when he commits, gonna be a while.Sounding good though.

If we got Robert Foster (which I think we will) then Cooper or Alec will be throwing to Black, Williams, Cooper, Cyrus Jones, Foster with Yeldon, Tenpenny, Tyren Jones, and Henry somewhere on the offense... with OJ and McNeil. Now we need Tunsil and the oline will look like Bozeman, Hill, Greene, Tunsil, Luatua maybe Leon Brown if he RS. But this would be like 2015

Defense will probably look like Kirven, Pagan in his last year, Fanning, Pettway all likely playing DE in situations. Lake and Paige at DT, maybe Taylor if he doesn't stay on OL. I think he will switch back to D once we get some more depth on OL. With Ragland and Devall playing the ILBs, Anderson and Lee playing Jack and Sam, Jonathan Allen in the mix of those guys. Dickson could be in his last year if he didn't leave early. Then Collins, Sunseri, Haha assuming they all stay for Senior year. Geno Smith, Maurice Smith, Anthony Averett, Sylve, Washington at CB.

Maybe get Mackensie Alexander, DeMarcus Walker, Antonio Conner/ Vonn Bell in the mix if we got any of them.

We definitely need to work on bringing in some elite O linemen and corners in the next cycle

I just hope he makes to Bama in January or next summer at the latest.

Bama will be at 82 scholly players this year by my count. Wonder if we'll award some walk-ons with scholarships or just bank the schollys to give us more wiggle room with the early enrollees.

This isn't really a recruiting question, but it involves one of your commits. Does anyone know where Raheem Falkins is going to school this year? His high school was supposed to be dropping all sports this year, or possibly shutting down, not sure. So all the players were able to go somewhere else.

Just wondering if anyone knew where he landed?

St. Aug I thought...

That would make sense, but St Aug ain't cheap. Even though he can freely transfer, I don't think they want to invite the LHSAA to start asking how he's paying for school.

There are multiple charter schools in NOLA that don't have to abide by attendance zones. He was rumored to be going to one of those as well, Edna Karr.

I've searched for news about Carver, but I can't find anything current.
