Just got home so we'll pick it up in the bottom of the first, Bama batting. Florida came up empty in the top half. Leadoff girl gets on for Bama but fails to advance behind the next two batters. Brown steals second for Bama and the count is full.

Dykes hits a bouncer to short who tries to field it and tag Brown going to third. SS drops the ball and blue calls runner interference when she can't scoop it and throw to first.
On replay, the SS charged the slow grounder, Brown left the base path towards the infield trying to go around her and get to third. They made contact but Brown attempted to get out of the way. Controversial call. I think it could be argued it was a bullshite call. Murph didn't like it and protested weakly. That was the second Bama base runner called out for interference in the inning.

Tight strike zone again today. Gators go down 1-2-3. They've failed to get a runner on base so far.

Littlejohn gets the first two Gators to fall, then the third Gator batter lays down a seeing eye bunt that rolls up the third base line but won't roll foul. First Gator base runner.

Next batter hits a screamer to straight away center but right at Briwn for the final out. Damage done as we head to the bottom half of the inning.

Not sure the game isn't over already. I doubt Bama can climb out of the 2-0 hole with their offense.

Littlejohn walks the leadoff hitter and Florida sac bunts her to second. Littlejohn gets the next batter to strike out. The next batter hits a bloop single right over the pitchers head. The runner on second rounds third as Brown fields it and throws home...OUT AT THE PLATE! Gorgeous throw by Brown right on the 3rd base side for the easy tag out.

I said it in the thread on tRant, but Murphy needs to make staff changes. Maybe wasting great pitching in 2017 will wake him up.
