We've been getting runners on but keep stranding them. It's going to be hard to beat Minnesota two days in a row with only one run a game.

Osorio Time!

We just beat the #1 ranked team in the country twice while only scoring 2 runs.

if out hitting matched our pitching we would be close to unbeatable.

I think we beat them 2 of 3 in Gainesville last season, but I can't remember. But it's a whole different ball game in the post season.

Next week will be a tough pitchers duel, UF has arguably the best pitchers in the country.. We got to be patient at the plate and get runners moving whether sacrifice, bunts, slapping etc.. We need to really put some pressure on their defense and pitching

Any news on Turner? It sure would be nice if we had her back against Florida.

I think she started at least two games if not all 3.

The 1-0 win over Minn yesterday was Bama's 34 straight win in regional play.

It was their 13 straight regional title.

The shutout also tied the school record for most shutouts in a season at 26 with the 09 team.

Minn was probably the best team that Bama has played in regional play, since the Super Regionals were added in 05.

I agree except for one thing. As most of us have already observed, it seems to be a Murphy tenet that you always take the first pitch looking. Our girls hardly ever swing at a first pitch, even if it's right down the middle. Time to break that tendency. Give the girls the green light. If you like the first pitch, swing away.

I can't believe he had them taking the first pitch against the Minn. pitcher. With her change up, we actually had only 1 strike to put the ball in play. With 2 strikes on the batter, the change up is almost unhittable.

Alabama has won straight 34 consecutive regional games.

That's 34 teams that were champions of their conference or from major conferences with winning records.
