I don't think that's Stars intent. And he isn't making this thread shitty. He's just voicing concerns he has with our S&C. No big deal.

This. This board is for Bama fans to talk and discuss Bama stuff. Not everyone is going to agree. They key is to do it with civility and not delving into personal attacks.

We don't have anymore injuries than any other team. Who are you referring to that "looks like shite?" Andre Smith? The only one I can think of. Also, it's not Cochran 's job to insure their S&C when they leave, so what does pro day have to do with him?

This is my last post on this, since people love to attack people for not posting company line stuff on here.
To Address your post..
- Who looks like shite? This season I don't know, I guess we'll see. In past years, where do I start? Just last season Hubbard, Cyrus. Those who didn't perform as we expected? Stinson, Steen and Pagan.
- It's not Cochran's job to ensure they do well in prodays. I already stated that. It is his job that this kids are building something and that isn't apparent when looking at how they perform compared to others in strength and speed test. I too used a personal trainer when I was coming out (Competitive Edge Sports with Chip and Robby), but those are 6 to 8 week programs. They can't turn a mouse into superman. The foundation should already be laid out and with some of our players it isn't there.
I don't know why some of you have to react so negatively when someone isn't pumping sunshine. I remember last season posters reacting very negatively when a few of us questioned our play calling.
At the end of the season our player calling OC got fired.
My point? Some of you need to relax and accept other opinions. Some times we just may be right.

Who is reacting negatively? I was just trying to understand where you are coming from. Try not to be so sensitive.

How about instead of preaching to me about sensitivity you preach to them about it. They can't even bare having a poster having a differing opinion.

Okay, I'm not sure if anyone truly believed that Hubbard or Cyrus were going to do shite at pro day seeing as they underachieved greatly the whole time they were at Bama.
And Stinson Steen and Pagan didn't perform THAT bad, and again, what did they ever really do at Bama that would lead us to believe that they would have an awesome pro day.
To contribute their shortcomings all to Cochran is a reach at best.
On the other hand, I can name you a lot of Bama players that did wow at the combine or pro day.

From those you name tell me how many of them had the speed/strength before ever entering Alabama?
When Landon Collins runs a 4.3 or 4.4 it won't be because of Cochran. Same could be said for others who had the speed/talent. BTW, I'm not saying the guy is bad, I'm saying he isn't as great as what many hype him to be.
Oh and lol at the downvotes. Pretty pathetic (and pointless? what do they even do?). Probably the same people who downvoted me when I questioned our play calling last year only to see our play caller get fired months after.

Pro day isn't on our program at all. Most kids already have agents and are working with personal trainers. I need some examples.

You cant say oh they look like shite and then name guys that are well over 300 pounds. Cant name to many 3-4 lineman that look like body builders. To be over 300 pounds Ed Stinson and Pagan look great to me.

you are the one still pouting because people dont agree with your opinion.
Cochran is a fine S&C coach. We have lots of guys who are big, strong, and fast. But he's not a computer programmer and some players are gonna develop differently based on a ton of variables.
Sorry that more bama fans dont share your opinion. Maybe if you were better at proving your argument more people would agree with you.

I cant believe we are even having this discussion. Ive never saw a scout say that our guys weren't prepared.
