More movement along o-line
Cam Robinson, Arie Kouandjio, Ryan Kelly, Alphonse Taylor and Austin Shepherd still appear to be the starting five for Alabama across the offensive line. The second team, however, saw another shift since the start of fall camp.
Freshman Ross Pierschbacher was taking reps behind Robinson at left tackle tonight with what appeared to be the second team. That spot had previously been held by Brandon Greene. With Pierschbacher were Isaac Luatua, Bradley Bozeman, Dominick Jackson and Grant Hill.
Secondary taking shape
Alabama lined up in its dime package Wednesday night and obviously placed six defensive backs on the field. Cyrus Jones and Bradley Sylve lined up at corner, Landon Collins and Nick Perry were at safety, and Jarrick Williams and Geno Smith worked at Star and Money with what appeared to be the first grouping.
Other notes from practice:
- Reggie Ragland and Shaun Dion Hamilton continued to lead the inside linebackers through individual drills, with Reuben Foster and Trey DePriest behind them. Hamilton is likely getting the reps with DePriest coming back from a minor setback.
- During the dime package period, Reuben Foster was the lone linebacker with the secondary but not the only linebacker on the field. Freshman Keith Holcombe shadowed Foster during the drill.
- Scouts from the Houston Texans and Chicago Bears watched Wednesday night's practice from the sideline.

Tony Brown...Eddie Jackson...where you be? :/

Yep. Brown and Jackson need to take over for sylve and jones. I wonder how long until Jackson can hit? Also I don't like nick perry in the secondary. He just doesn't have the speed or break compared to the other guys.

Jackson is still considered injured, or I imagine he'd have Sylve's spot.
It's early camp. TB may take a job soon. First scrimmage may change some things.

One handed grab by OJ Howard. At first I was thinking the throw was gonna be way off, but it actually looked pretty good from the given angle. Might have been a bit high, I can't tell from the angle.

Also below that is another video of more throws from the QBs. Looks like Coker is first in line, but that doesn't mean much here.

The secondary is very experienced.
LC is back after starting/playing money all year last year.
Cyrus Jones/Bradley Sylve shared the Corner spot opposite of Belue.
Jarrick Williams started at Star last year and is a fifth year Senior.
Nick Perry played a lot in 2012 and is a fifth year Senior.
Geno Smith played a lot at the end of 2012 and played a bit last year.

He looked like he stutter stepped a bit before the catch.
OJ Howard is a freak. He's gonna light it up in the NFL.

He is. His athletic ability is insane. Honestly if we didn't have so much talent/depth at WR he'd be there dominating.

Based on what, in regards to Brown?

I can only imagine he's talking about Brown being an EE and having all the talent in the world, plus having a really good A-Day. He's been an expected starter ever since.
Don't get me wrong, he may not start. But if Saban determines that Jones/Sylve (with Jackson hurt) is the way to go, then both will be on a tight leash with a guy like TB knocking on the door. He's too talented to enroll early and stay on the bench.

I can see both brown and humphrey playing often in straight man coverage this year, its quite a lot to expect them to get all the intricacies already. Both are so physically gifted they need to be out there making plays for us this year
