I think Foster has a different skill set than Jones. Black and Jones could compete for time but Foster will be competing with White.

And let's not forget that Sims has a lot of chemistry with Black from their mop up duty days.

No doubt. I see Black as more of a slot guy, as is Jones.
But if we go 5 wide, I would bet jones will be on the field. Not saying Foster & Black won't get their fair share, but Jones has been a staple for some time now.

If we go five wide I want Howard as one of the five, and obviously Cooper. Beyond that I pick the other 3 based on how many yards we need and the defensive personnel.

shite show? Im gonna assume you meant a compliment with those 5.

Yes lol. A shite show of a defense because of the sick receivers

It looks great on paper. But, if you think Christion Jones will be replaced by Black or Foster, then cocaine is a hell of a drug.

Chris Jones is a good WR. I just think Black is a more pure receiver and should "start" there. Chris is an unreal athlete and I think hes the best returner in the nation and could probably play defense with as hard as he hits. But I think as far as WR goes, Black runs better routes and has better speed across the middle.

I wasnt saying foster over jones at slot. I was saying Foster as the 3rd outside receiver to Coop and White

After a condescending remark, yes. I attacked no one initially and thats the argument I was trying to make. I meant I didnt go after anyone first.

I think this is probably how things will play out, but I really think Black gives us way more explosion out of the position. Statistically speaking, Jones was pretty pedestrian last year.

Black's biggest problem is sometimes he drops the easy ones. But his quickness could be a huge weapon. We also saw him lined up in the backfield a few times with Sims. He can be dangerous from there too. If we came out and showed a true 5 wide set and then shifted into a more traditional set, Black would probably go to RB.

I have no problem not bringing anything up but I'm not going to let people gang up on me, when they're the ones posting in my direction first.

Is Walker Jones still on the team? I don't remember seeing him in any photos or videos.

Yeah. He's an ILB. Saw him on a practice video and in pics.
I think he will eventually move to HB if we get thin there. I don't think he's impressing at ILB. Unless SDH is just impressing that much more. Dunno but he is on the team

What number is he. I saw a white guy but I thought that it was the freshman. I really expect him to move to fullback or H back too.

That seems pretty accurate as far as receiving goes. He really only makes a consistent impact on special teams. Hopefully this year Jones can put it together. We could really benefit from explosive play out of the slot considering how good White and Coop figure to be on the outside.
