I can’t stand Jansen… Maybe it’s the umpire in me but he balks every pitch. He has nothing special except the deception.

I'm surprised it took this long for him to fire that agency.
It was an uncomfortable atmosphere with Freddie's visable sadness and anger the whole series.
They were giving him the wrong advice the whole off-season, ensuring him AA would give in with the 6 year deal and we see the result.
His former teammate buddy Chipper advised him, you're playing a dangerous game. I wouldn't wait around.
In other words take the 5 years Braves were offering and be happy.

AA just wasn't going to be forced to do something he didn't want to do, period. Sucks for Freddie that his agent got him into this situation.
