If he wanted a passionate fan base, he would have stayed at Tennessee. But USC? Ole Miss? Those schools have a casual fan base at best.

Put on a 4 hour movie. If you don't like it 2 hours in, you still watching it?

If the game is boring, people leave. If people are aggravated at what they're seeing, they leave. Some don't want to sit in the lots after a game so they leave.

It is who you play. People stayed till the end of the Miss State game, left after halftime of Southern and NM. Maybe schedule better non-con games.
