Doesn’t sound insane to me. It’s $60 million in guaranteed money, less than what OBJ got. That only puts the Saints on the hook to pay him top dollar for like 3 years. After Brees is done and if they need to rebuild, they can turn him loose with no consequences.

No doubt. MT is a heck of an athlete, and a really well rounded receiver. Yet, without a legend like Brees, he might not of had the same level of production. I'm sure he is self aware.

Yeah Andy he is and I like him as a teammate and player just hate the thought of these bigger contracts coming due right as Drew’s last year approaches so we are hamstrung for the next 3-5 years struggling to be an 8-8 team but that’s the reality usually after your HOF QB retires for most teams. Heck I like Bridgewater too but he will be a pretty big drop though off. I really hope I’m wrong.
