Louisville women's basketball coach Jeff Walz really may be onto something here, don't you think?...

Think I disgaree on this - sounds good, wouldn't work. The last thing you'd want is refs to be pressured by a scrutinizing media. Think the home team has avantage now? How about when they have to go to a press conference with most media members repping the home team.

Yeah, when you put it like that. Nearing the end of the game and some refs know that they've made some bad calls might really try to make amends for the home team before getting raked over the coals.

Yea well if so then they're going to have to answer for. I think it will cause them to straighten their shite up. It won't make them perfect but neither are the coaches and players and they have to sit there and answer questions after a bad game.

Refs do need to be held responsible somehow. Don't really how they do now though.

the refs are a third team and an integral and critical part of the game. It would be awkward at first but so was the first Coach/player press conference so frick 'em.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS IDEA. And I can't believe that never crossed my mind.

This needs to happen. Refs would be more apt to swallow their whistle which would be great for the sport
