they lowered to do maintenance and one side dropped to the court. Fell from the ceiling is fake news.

Well what did they expect? If it was George Washington’s Jumbotron, that thing’s got to be over 250 years old.

I was about to say, if that really dropped from its usual height the floor would be jacked up.

Statement from GW Twitter account: "The scoreboard was undergoing maintenance today and dropped unexpectedly from its lowered position just above the floor. Nobody was injured (thankfully) and the scene is being assessed for any damage."
