This seems like a fun poll to conduct as the NBA playoffs begin. Among other things, NBA players voted on the most overrated player in the league, sorry Trae Young..

For a guy who couldn’t win a playoff series. And when his team finally did advance to the 2nd round, he was injured and in street clothes

Larry Bird is the GOAT. Jordan was scared of The Legend

Bird was truly a great player, deserving of much respect… and he may be your favorite player. But sorry, the stats (championships, MVPs and other awards) just don’t back that up. Jordan comes out ahead. Doesn’t take anything away from Bird, but far from being the GOAT. The key rivalry back in Bird’s prime was between him and Magic. I enjoyed watching the game a lot more back then. As far as any of those three (Jordan, Bird or Magic) being scared of each other, that’s a fantasy. But I’d say the one team that everybody was aware of was the Pistons… mainly because they played football and just called it basketball. lol

Jag_Warrior I just want to say that it's a bit refreshing to read a well thought out and reasonable response. Whether I agree with you or not is irrelevant.

Hard for me to be objective because LeBron isn’t my favorite player. To me, Kobe was like a Jordan-lite. He had some sweet moves. But he wasn’t able to stay healthy like LeBron has and LeBron is a more powerful and stronger player. He’s clearly effective and can score almost at will, but he doesn’t have those jaw-dropping Dr. J./Jordan/Kobe moves. And you might have taken a few charges on Kobe back in the day. But I’d say taking a charge on LeBron speeding down the lane might be a one & done deal - just let me sit on the bench and watch the rest of the game.
