The Royals Had More Players Than Fans At Their Wednesday Day Game
Peter G. Aiken-USA TODAY Sports
I get it, a Wednesday day game in May is tough to pack in, but the Kansas City Royals' Kauffmann Stadium was completely empty for their game against the Rays yesterday...

The Indians in Major League had more in attendance at the beginning of the movie.

We had some nasty weather here yesterday and this was a doubleheader. It is a great stadium though to catch a game.

I'd love to attend a MLB game that has this type of crowd. Has to be a unique experience.

there are WAAAAAYYY too many baseball games and the game itself is terribly slow. With 162 games, each individual one is utterly meaningless. The best teams finish about .600 and the worst finish about .400. Yawn.

So losing each individual game wouldn't mean that team sucks?

"So losing each individual game wouldn't mean that team sucks?" ..... you know what I mean. Each game is 1/162 of the season. In the NFL, each game is 1/16. In football, each game is literally 10x more important. In baseball, if a team loses 5 straight, it's not a huge deal. In football, the season's basically over.

the game is terribly slow is so overblown. I can hardly stand to attend a CFB or NFL game. TV timeouts non stop, no flow to the game. I think the average NFL games has like 11 minutes of action. Baseball is actually pretty awesome in comparison.
