Hats Off To These Mississippi State Kids Who Camped Out Overnight For Tickets

The College World Series final starts tonight in Omaha with the Mississippi State Bulldogs taking on the Vanderbilt Commodores. These poor Mississippi State college kids who camped out overnight hoping to grab some of the face value seats at the box office this morning. And they got jokes...

I stood in line and drew well in the lottery up there in 2017, get to the window and the 97 year old lady working the window dawdled until only really bad tickets were left to buy. My friend was sent to the Will Call window by security and wasn’t able to buy any tickets. There system is flawed or their personal is, anyway.

I went and stood in line a few years ago for LSU vs TCU tickets. Box office opened at 10am, we got there at 9am and the line was over 300 people deep. They had a lotery for tickets, they drew a number between 1 and 500 and that number is where they started selling tickets. The number that day was 230 so #1 to 229 went to the back of the line, those people were pissed and I got my 3 tickets un reserved seating. I'm not sure if they do it the same way now.
