LSU men's basketball coach Will Wade and women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey couldn't travel to Birmingham, Alabama, for SEC Media Days on Tuesday because heavy fog in Baton Rouge kept them grounded, according to multiple reports.

Both coaches and their players were scheduled to fly on the same plane but were unable to make the trip.

LSU confirmed the news Tuesday morning and announced that both teams will participate remotely on SEC Network. The women's team is scheduled for 9:50 a.m. CT, followed by the men's team at 10:50 a.m. CT.

The men's team will host an exhibition against UCF on Wednesday night at the PMAC. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. CT on SEC Network+, and admission is free.

Watched a doc last night about Louisiana strawberries. If fog lingers on the young plants for 6 or 8 hrs it will/could kill the flowers. Picky lil fckrs!

Sankey has dark plans for their teams too. I believe he already messed with the baseball team. Whatever LSU does as an administration, pressure has to be exerted to oust Sankey.

Not sure why he has such animosity towards LSU. Did he attend an athletic function and get boooood or something to hurt his feelings?
