2 years ago he missed 8 games while also catching passes from 4 different trash QBs and still had 1075 yards and 5 TDs at almost 16 yards a catch in 9 games. A year later with Darnold he had over 1500 yards and 10 TDs playing a full season. With McCarthy not only did Jefferson play a full season healthy, not only did he not have to play with a division worth of QBs throwing to him, even with all that he still had less yards, TDs, and yards per play in the year he missed 8 games and had a bunch of different QBs throwing to him. It was vividly clear the difference of Carson Wentz throwing to him and McCarthy. Look at the games lol. It's so damn obvious. The man is trying to be the GOAT WR and he can't do that with a bum as his QB.

he had a frustrating year. I saw a lot where he was not open and covered. I think some of it was effort because he knew they weren't going to win or whatever.
The Vikings were a fool to ditch Darnold in favor of a rookie QB who really wasn't that impressive in college. Sure they won a title but just looking at QB play he wasn't great.

I'm waiting for JJ to break out some long black gloves and a long cigarette holder ala Ginger on Gilligan's Island...hahaha.
