Classy, and paid very generously. Also clueless, unfortunately.

"I am ready to call plays" he told Rinaldi. Was there ever any doubt.

He is reported to have a good shot at 5 good jobs if he leaves Cameron behind. Miles said in December that he picked the plays for every game plan. "I am ready to call plays" confirms that he was calling the plays and that led to the constant "check with me", predictable slow pace of play, delay of game, timeouts, confusion, and pre-snap penalties. Without tempo/spread the Defenses sub and align for every play. Chris Carter, and studies confirm predictability and lack of tempo/spread is less successful with a higher risk of injury.

I'm sure Les enjoyed the win. I really wish he wasn't so stubborn and would have helped himself make the necessary changes. I'll miss him as the face of LSU.

This didn't come down to 1 second. It came down to 1:30 and wasting time.

Les handled this very well. Class act. He could have been bitter or attacking....but didnt. He coached how he believed put the Tigers in the best position to win. I can respect that. He's not anyone's sheep. I know he watched lsu last night with a heavy heart but I know he was proud of his guys. Lsu made the right call....both in hiring Les 10 years ago... and replacing him last week. Good luck Les....

No offense les, but your team just did everything you ever talked of without you here. 2 different RB's ran for 300+ yards and 6 TDs. Sadly, you couldn't listen to those around you. You had an easy job and you pissed it away.

He really benefitted more than any coach I know

LSU football had become unwatchable under Miles. If he was not fired after Auburn game all you could see was empty stadium, loss of recruits, and a season long native publicity.

It was probably time to shuffle the coaching deck, but Les is a wonderful man and a true Tiger. He's a class act and a character, and I will truly miss seeing him on the sidelines.

LSU made the right call to fire Les Miles, but they made it 10months to late. What Joe Alleva did to Les, the team, and to the LSU fans was the worst possible way to handle that situation. #fireAlleva

Not sure how you fire a coach of CLM' stature in any way thats good...but, it was high time they did something...

Les is the one that didn't change anything and lost the team. This is a business.

"Shame on us" No , shame on Alleva for way he handled this . Miles should have been let go at the end of last year . He could have went out A winner . Would have been best for all involved .

A good interviewer keeps their questions as short as possible. He did.
