NFL Network Draft expert Daniel Jeremiah released his first NFL Mock Draft for the first round and projects LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane to be selected No. 5 overall by the New York Giants.

Delane would be the first cornerback selected in the draft, ahead of Tennessee's Jermod McCoy at No. 10 to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Here's what Jeremiah had to say about Delane, along with his Top 10 picks:
quote:

5. New York Giants: Mansoor Delane (LSU - CB)

The Giants could add a receiver later in the draft -- it's a deep class at the position -- but Delane would immediately be their most talented cornerback.
1. Las Vegas Raiders: Fernando Mendoza (Indiana - QB)
2. New York Jets: Arvell Reese (Ohio State - Edge)
3. Arizona Cardinals: Spencer Fano (Utah - OT)
4. Tennessee Titans: Francis Mauigoa (Miami - OT)
5. New York Giants: Mansoor Delane (LSU - CB)
6. Cleveland Browns: David Bailey (Texas Tech - Edge)
7. Washington Commanders: Sonny Styles (Ohio State - LB)
8. New Orleans Saints: Jeremiyah Love (Notre Dame - RB)
9. Kansas City Chiefs Rueben Bain Jr. (Miami - Edge)
10. Cincinnati Bengals: Jermod McCoy (Tennessee - CB)

If you are going to PS Lane Kiffin into a sideline conversation, make sure you go all out and PS LSU gear onto him as well, not Ole Miss!

Would be great for Delane to be the first cornerback off the board at 5 but it would be insane for the Saints to pick Jeremiah Love with the 8th pick !
