LSU wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase was named one of three finalists for the Biletnikoff Award, which is presented annually to the season's outstanding college football receiver regardless of position.

Oklahoma's CeeDee Lamb and USC's Michael Pittman Jr. were the other two finalists.

Chase, a sophomore from New Orleans, has 63 receptions for 1,260 yards and 15 touchdowns on the season. Here's how he stacks up against the other finalist:

Ja'Marr Chase:
63 receptions, 1,260 yards, and 15 TD's

CeeDee Lamb:
46 receptions, 999 yards, and 14 TD's

Michael Pittman Jr.:
95 receptions, 1,222 yards, 11 TD's

Chase might be the legit best WR ever to play at LSU. That list includes OBJ, Jarvis, Devery, Clayton, Martin, Toliver, et al. Ja’Marr in a landslide.

I would have to say that Josh Reed is still the best WR in LSU history based on his stats and the time period he played. But Chase will be up there with him as the only 2 LSU WRs to win the award.
