Four-star LSU quarterback commit Peyton Houston seems unfazed by the latest coaching shakeup in Baton Rouge after Brian Kelly was fired on Sunday night.

Houston, a class of 2027 prospect from Shreveport, La. (Evangel Christian Academy), sent this message out on Monday:

Houston is the No. 8th-ranked quarterback in the country and the No. 5 player in Louisiana for 2027, per the 247Sports Composite.

He committed to LSU back in September over offers from Oklahoma, Southern Cal, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, and many others.

Guy reminds me of Russell Sheppard 2.0 with maybe a little less speed but a touch more mustard. Really small for big time CF tho

That’s the character, confidence, and fearlessness that LSU is looking for and what makes LSU and them great.

Sounds like we will NOT have any issues with him looking around for any other place to go other than Baton Rouge in the early signing period. Good for him being able to know what he wants in life and what direction to take. Not really all that common among people his age. GEAUX TIGER!
