Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
During this week's episode of the Joel Klatt Show, the Fox Sports College Football analyst revealed his post-spring Top 25 rankings.

Klatt pegged LSU at No. 7, just ahead of Georgia and Alabama. Per Yahoo:
quote:

The Tigers are the second-highest team in the SEC behind No. 2 Texas. Penn State led the way as the top pick while Georgia and Alabama fall behind LSU at No. 8 and 9, respectively.

Klatt said he ranked LSU ahead of their conference opponents because he "believes in Garrett Nussmeier" as a leader who will enter his fifth season donning the purple and gold after playing under Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels.

"Garrett Nussmeier is going to be one of the top picks in the NFL Draft," Klatt said. "He's seen it done at a high level."

If Franklin isn't in the championship game this year, when will he be? Literally the best setup he could get. Michigan, Ohio St, and Oregon are all replacing a ton of NFL talent on top of all three replacing QBs with guys who have barely played, or played none at all. Penn St loses 2 great talents, but still bring back their entire run game, multi year starting QB, who is a legit first round talent, and a defense that has 4 legit studs returning from last year's #8 scoring defense.

Once again playing 4 top 13 teams and 6 of top 20. Also Bama not in T25 is just dumb.

Never Mind, apparantly Bama hidden. So 5 top 13 teams and 7 top 20 teams. We have to have a top 3 SOS in country.

Right now they're unproven and I think they're more like #9. (but 5 or 6 when we beat Clemson)
However they can easily be in the top 4 by the time the playoffs roll around. And that's what will count the most.
