LSU interim head coach Frank Wilson said that quarterback Garrett Nussmeier is out for Saturday's game vs. Western Kentucky on Senior Night.

"He will not participate," Wilson said after practice on Thursday. "Garrett is a no-go; he will be out for the game."

Nussmeier will now miss his final game in Tiger Stadium, and it is unlikely that he will suit up for LSU again.

"There is certainly a want. He wants to play, but he's not able to at the moment."

Wilson added that linebacker Whit Weeks is probable for Saturday's game.

"He's had a good week at practice," Wilson said. "He's shown tremendous progress. He's talking and feeling the right way. Right now, I would say he's probable. He feels better."

"There is certainly a want. He wants to play, but he's not able to at the moment." Since we are talking like old Les Miles we might as well say “Nuss doesn’t have the chest to play!”
