Former LSU WR Kayshon Boutte Traded To Houston Texans

Former LSU wide receiver Kayshon Boutte is headed to Houston.
The New England Patriots are trading Boutte to the Texans in exchange for safety Jaylen Reed and a 2028 seventh-round draft pick, according to multiple reports.
Boutte was selected by New England in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft after spending three seasons at LSU. The 24-year-old caught 33 passes for 551 yards and six touchdowns during the 2025 regular season and also made a memorable one-handed touchdown catch against Houston in the AFC Divisional Round.
Houston had been searching for help at wide receiver after Jayden Higgins suffered a season-ending ACL injury during training camp.
