After eight seasons in the NFL, former LSU offensive lineman Will Clapp is officially hanging up his cleats.

Clapp, a native of New Orleans, La. (Brother Martin), was a three-year starter at LSU from 2015-2017 after redshirting his freshman season in 2014. His father, Tommy, lettered on the defensive line at LSU back in the 80's.

Clapp was a 7th-round pick by the New Orleans Saints in 2018 and spent time with the Saints, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Buffalo Bills.

He returned to the Saints in 2025 but suffered a Lisfranc injury in the team's first preseason game and was placed on season-ending injured reserve.

This week, Clapp shared his retirement by posting several pictures on social media of his football journey through the years:
quote:

Will Clapp: From the first to the last and all the ones in between, thank you for being my rock! Grateful for an amazing career and excited for our next chapter!
