Former LSU pass rusher K'Lavon Chaisson has signed a one-year, $5 million deal with the Carolina Panthers.

The Houston native spent the past three seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, who drafted him 20th overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Chaisson played at LSU from 2017 to 2019 and helped the Tigers win the National Championship in 2019.

Was never a 4 -3 DE. Fresh start will be good for him.

Jax used him as a 4-3 end (not his position). He’s a 3-4 OLB, so him going to Carolina’s 3-4 scheme may work. He was a beast the championship year.

He was a bust in terms of being a 1st rounder. I expected way more from him.
