Brian Kelly and the LSU coaching staff landed another big defensive line commitment on Saturday from four-star defensive lineman Deuce Geralds.

Geralds, a 6-2, 275-pounder from Suwanee, Ga., chose the Tigers over Ohio State, Oregon, Ole Miss, and Michigan. Per ESPN:

Geralds, who plays at Collins Hill High School in Suwannee, Georgia, is ESPN's No. 5 recruit in the state for the 2026 class. He chose the Tigers over finalists Oregon, Michigan, Ole Miss and Ohio State following official visits with each program this spring.

Geralds is the son of former Ole Miss offensive lineman Daverin Geralds, a starting center on the Rebels' 2010 Cotton Bowl team. The younger Geralds also spent a portion of his childhood in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, near the LSU campus before relocating to Georgia.

Geralds told ESPN he has maintained strong ties in Louisiana. He now joins as the latest blue-chip member of an increasingly deep Tigers defensive line class led by elite prospects from across the state.
The Top 100 recruit from Collins Hill High School gives LSU one of the top defensive line classes in the country.

There's going to be a stone wall when opposing teams try to cross the line of scrimmage against LSU.

Current 2026 DL commits: #1 Ath(will play DL), #2 DL, #8 DL, #6 Edge and 2 other 3 star DL. That 2026 DL group is stacking up nicely.

We haven’t had D-line depth in years. Hopefully these commitments hold because it would be great to have all these guys here

This defensive front in a couple years will be a wall if they stay together and healthy.

He must be a demon. To play inside at 6’2” is rare unless you are supremely gifted.
