I hate preseason predictions. They basically just look at who was good last year and assume they will be good this year. LSU’s roster next year is comparable to anyone’s.

I really believe LSU has a chance but it all starts with Clemson. If LSU falters there it won’t make the playoffs. Clemson could lose that game & still make the playoffs because of their pathetically weak conference. The albatross hanging over The Tigers neck is the 5 game opening season losing streak. Shameful.

LSU can still make the playoffs even with a Clemson loss. Just makes it more difficult but not impossible.
