Three-star wide receiver Decoldest Crawford from Shreveport, Louisiana announced Tuesday night that he has de-committed from LSU.

Crawford originally committed to LSU in October of 2019.

He become the second LSU de-commitment on the night as four-star tight end Jake Johnson also revealed earlier that he is opening up his recruitment.

The only reason a 3 star was offered 2 years ago was his name. If he was JuWan or LeDavid he would still be looking for an offer from Southern or Prairie View

Tigers went through all this when Saban was named coach. I wasn’t sure at first about the Kelly hire but now I feel he’s gonna get the program turned around. I want men who want to be tigers. Get players ready for the next level and at the same time receive an education. Glad decoldest is gone. Your decision to give up a 4 yr education and great resources. He missed his chance. Too bad.

Translation: We (LSU) don’t have a place for you on this year’s team. “Warmest” Regards. Coach Kelly

If he end up playing in Lincoln, his first name will take on that much more significance.

18 years olds should enjoy the process. No concern here, either they come or dont. LSU will be fine

If he does go to Nebraska, he will definitely be cold and then wishes he was back at LSU where it’s warm.

yeah, why on earth would a WR want to play anywhere but LSU? Seems like a huge mistake but I guess you cant stop people from making bad decisions

I hate the new trend of saying "I would like to...". If you'd like to decommit, then do it. Don't tell us that you'd like to do it. There's a huge difference between "I'd like to bang an SI swimsuit model" and "I'm banging an SI swimsuit model". Just say "I'm re-opening my recruitment and decommitting from LSU."
