LSU head coach Lane Kiffin and running back coach Kevin Smith headed over to Shreveport, La., on Thursday to visit four-star LSU quarterback commit Peyton Houston.
Houston shared a picture from the visit with all three, captioned: "Strategy meeting on who’s next."
Houston, a 5-11, 200-pound passer from Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, La., is the No. 8th-ranked quarterback in the nation and the No. 5 player in Louisiana, per the 247Sports Composite.
Houston committed to the previous coaching staff back in September, over offers from Oklahoma, Southern Cal, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, and many others. He was recently on LSU's campus for his first chance to meet the new staff.
