The LSU coaching staff has extended an offer to JUCO defensive lineman Rodney Sopsher from Amite, LA.

The 6-2, 255-pounder currently plays at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, Iowa.

Rodney's younger brother is five-star defensive tackle target Ishmael Sopsher who is a major target for LSU's 2019 recruiting class.

I’m probably the biggest nega-O on this site but he has to take this kid. Can’t lose a 5* Dlineman from south Louisiana to Bama. Would be a terrible look

Awesome, no way this happens if Shopser didn't want to be here with this brother. No way to lose in this situation.
