LSU has lost a commitment from 2027 three-star running back Brennen Lacey of Frisco, Texas.
Lacey announced Thursday that he has decommitted from the Tigers and is reopening his recruitment.
The 5-foot-11, 190-pound prospect originally committed to LSU on June 7 after visiting Baton Rouge, choosing the Tigers over offers from Notre Dame, TCU, Miami, and others.
Despite his departure, LSU still has running backs Tre Segarra and Trey Martin committed to its 2027 recruiting class.
The Tigers now have 15 verbal commitments for the class of 2027.
