Three-star tight end Jackson McGohan announced his commitment to LSU on Tuesday afternoon.
McGohan, a 6-4, 225-pound prospect from Miamisburg, Ohio, originally committed to offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock when he was the OC at Cincinnati but de-committed from the Bearcats last week.
Denbrock extended him another offer, this time from LSU after Cincinnati head coach Luke Fickell left the Bearcats for the Wisconsin job at the end of November. McGohan's commitment comes just days after wrapping up his visit to LSU.
McGohan is LSU's second tight end commit in the 2023 class, joining four-star prospect Mac Markway. Both players will help add much-needed depth to the position.
The Tigers now have 24 verbal commits for the class of 2023.
