Three-star edge rusher Ahmad Breaux from Ruston, La., announced his commitment to LSU on Sunday afternoon.

Breaux has been committed to Duke but received an offer from the LSU coaching staff while visiting this weekend and quickly flipped to the Tigers shortly after.

He is ranked the No. 15 overall player from Louisiana for the class of 2024, according to the 247 Composite Rankings.

Breaux's pledge gives LSU 10 verbal commitments for the class of 2024.

Is 2024 a down year for Louisiana high school recruits? How often is a 3-star player ranked as the 15th best player in the state? Are there fewer 4 and 5 stars this year?
