Brian Kelly and the LSU coaching staff landed a commitment from junior college defensive lineman Shone Washington on Monday night.

Washington, a 6'3, 297-pounder from New Orleans, was a one-time LSU commit during high school recruitment but ended up signing with Georgia in 2022. He spent last season at East Mississippi Community College.

His addition gives the Tigers 26 commitments for the 2024 class and more depth on the interior defensive line.

He's a terror now with having developed while at a Jr college playin ball there. The inside of LSU's DLine just got a lot better with this monster anchoring them.

Welcome to LSU Shone Washington. And so it begins. Building blocks with a new defensive coach will make this defense shine again.
