Three-star 2026 athlete Dezyrian Ellis from Winnsboro, La., announced his commitment to LSU over the weekend.

The 6-2, 175-pound prospect plays quarterback for Franklin Parish High School but will likely end up playing cornerback for Corey Raymond.

Ellis picked the Tigers over offers from West Virginia, Tulane, Houston, Michigan State, and others.

It makes me very sad that I don’t get excited about these posts anymore, kids are so flipping and indecisive these days, I really don’t believe in commitments until I see the kids open the fall for camp

Some do; most don't. Get excited.

Besides, it's still better he committed to LSU over some other team.

This is good news, BUT two Louisiana lineman are expected to sign with Texas or Texas A&M. Lineman is what teams need to excel. Skill position players are everywhere.
