This is Wilson’s first trip to Tiger Stadium since the spring when he met with former coach Les Miles and then-defensive line coach Ed Orgeron, his primary recruiter. Since Orgeron took over for Miles as LSU’s interim coach, he has visited Wilson for a Friday night game in late October and has consistently attempted to lure him on campus for a visit.
Wilson has already taken official visits to Oklahoma and Florida State, and is scheduled to also officially visit Ohio State. LSU remains in contention for one of Wilson’s final official visits, which could put the Tigers in an even stronger position with the nation’s top defensive tackle leading into his decision on National Signing Day.
Rivals has Wilson as the No. 2 overall player for the class of 2017.
