Former LSU Basketball players Trendon Watford and Javonte Smart didn't hear their names called during the Draft on Thursday night but have signed deals with NBA teams.

Watford has signed with the Portland Trailblazers while Javonte Smart signed with the Miami Heat.

it's a simple thought process, if you are first ground grade go to the draft, if you aren't then you have room to improve

Honestly, BB players could make bank with NIL. They might have made more on a good LSU BB team. Might start seeing more guys staying now..

Acts driven by selfishness and not the brain, which I wouldn't expect these players to use that. Come back a year, dominate, and sign a $5 mil contract. Now, you'll make $100k a year for 2 to 3 years, then be done. It's really not that hard. Use brain, not be selfish for immediate gratification.

Selfish? You sound like a moron. Smart was at LSU for 3 years with all the investigation talk all the time, he helped LSU win an SEC title in his first year and led the SEC in assists per game and 3-point % last year while LSU went on a nice run in the post-season in the SEC tourney, etc. He could come back and have a worse year and get no shot at anything. The truth is that You selfishly want him back at LSU.
