I read that some pre Katrina levees had eroded to only stand 5 ft and now all levee/flood walls stand at least 15 ft.

Would this have been as bad as Katrina if Army Corp of Engineers didn’t make the upgrade?
This Hawaii QB wouldn’t start ULM
Yeah this is impressive what UCLA is doing, but the brothers in the Deep South are on a completely different level of athleticism compared to the indigenous natives Hawaii. Exponentially moreso
Eh, one could make a case LSU is on par with Arkansas, Bama, and Kentucky and Ole Miss, Miss st. Missou and USC and Tennessee slightly better
I thought you were talking about TM7 since he took an involuntary year off before NFL and pretty sure he did good rookie year
What in the hell are you talking about? There's a bomb, and somehow a Lamborghini article from 6 days ago has to do with it, and somehow Burt Reynolds being in history books has to do with it

You're crazy man.

in my day practice ACTs or taking it multiple times wasn't a thing, not knocking it, I had no prep, the night before I took it cold turkey I scored 26 points in a hs basketball game, scored after the game with one of our cheerleaders, and had the better portion of a case of beer throughout the evening, 34

I believe this 0%. I'm at MIT on an $80,000 scholarship and if I had a case of beer night before, I'd get a 24 probably....

Heard this exact story from most men age 50+... didn't happen, funny because all the 50+ yr old guys who said this that I know had wives who left them, they were in apartments not a house, and worked graveyard shifts... but hey whatever helps them be able to look themselves in the mirror right?

The difference between Shreveport and Bossier is that Shreveport has wide class variety and Bossier not so much. The richest people in the metro almost always live in Shreveport (South Highlands, Ellerbe, Southern Trace) and then you have the poorest (West I-49 and Cedar Grove). Bossier is mostly middle to slightly upper middle class white families. The well to do families in Shreveport are considered more class and make more than the well to do Bossier families.. Bossier is mostly rednecks making 70k a year.

Coding jobs like software developer or data science for a company like Amazon pay well initially out of college, but there's not much upward mobility in something like data science. If you're in finance or engineering, there is.

Rarely do you see a CEO was in data science or software dev.

Y'all are just dramatic cry babies. This is best part of world ever.. no World War I and II or Vietnam.. technology making life more simple (at times), just 70 years ago, most people didn't have cars, microwaves, AC, now we have a device that you can verbally ask "What is the Capital of Nevada" and get an answer. There really isn't anybody who can't survive in the US. If you want a job, you can get one or have welfare. Compare this to centuries ago where people would die of starvation or one person gets a cold and the whole town is dead in 6 months. Those who speak yes of this, dad didn't make them tough enough.

We live in a country that has 55 of the top 100 universities... next closest country has 8 (China and England).. We have the highest GDP by 1.6x even though we have less than 1/4 the people of India or China.. we consistently or always win most gold and total medals in olympics. Fragile people will say America is no longer super power but according to those stats, we still by far are.

Bitches
Louisiana has 5x the rate of covid in past 14 days as MA right now, and 64% are vaccinated in MA compared to 38% of LA. Sometimes, I really do wonder how stupid people in this state can be. Like this is blatantly obvious that getting vaccinated lowers population covid rate. Yea, there is a 99% survival rate (dependent on sources), but wouldn't it be nice if people got vaccinated, so we wouldn't have to deal with the bullshite like masks, space between seatings, cancelled events, teams having to forfeit, can't go out to bars... all it takes is for people to get a simple shot.
There's no way 60% of men and 70% men under 35, legit think they could compete for a medal. This must be a sensationalized article for click bait. I don't know anyone who would legit think that could medal in olympics.
Dwight McGlothern sounds like an MIT or Harvard students name haha
You’re one for nostalgia, painting Notre Dmae USC 2005 as the most pinnacle game ever and college football will never return to that. I’d bet you’re older than 40 and just enjoyed your life more then than now, like an old man saying everything was better back in his days. 2011 LSU Bama was a more complete rostered game than that game by far. Hell, 2019 LSU Bama looks to have better rosters than that game. That was the end of USC and Notre Dame was gone by that point.
