A select panel of both SEC and national media members revealed their preseason media poll this week and are picking LSU Basketball to finish towards the bottom of the league this year at No. 13.

LSU finished dead last in the SEC last season with a 14-19 overall record in Matt McMahon's first year in Baton Rouge. McMahon overhauled the roster in the offseason with many transfers that will hopefully help turn things around.

with the SEC being strong in basketball now, it will be harder to get the recruits now.

LSU and South Carolina are on the opposite side of the spectrum from their woman's basketball teams.

Thats fair. Team was awful last year and talent level isnt much better. Things wont get better until our General makes his glorious return from exile in Elba.

I’ll keep laughing at these posts as if you really think that’ll happen. The team improves drastically in a 2-year stretch, or McMahon is fired and we get a new coach. And no, it won’t be your Pear God.

So Napoleon is going to coach LSU?
