Victor Wembanyama was ejected from Sunday night's playoff game between the Spurs and the Timberwolves after elbowing former LSU star Naz Reid.

Wemby only played 12 minutes and scored 4 points before the ejection, while Reid finished with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and the Game 4 win to even up the series at 2-2.

After the game, Reid had a simple quote about the elbow he received from Wemby:
quote:

"Pain is weakness leaving the body, that's it."

Good on Naz for not brawling. I can see why VW got pissed though, he got whacked in the head by the other other MN player. I missed that detail the first time. The MN player committed a general foul hitting VW in the head. But VW retaliated and definitely deserved ejection. I think he should miss the 1st half of next game as well.
