Per LSUSports.net: Los Angeles, Ca. – The LSU men's basketball team fell short to USC, 70-68, Saturday night in the Staples Center. The Tigers fall to 7-4 on the season.

Senior guard Skylar Mays scored a game high 21 points to go along with six boards and three steals. Freshman forward Trendon Watford finished with 17 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in the double-double effort. Sophomore forward Darius Days also finished with a double-double, scoring 12 and grabbing 11 rebounds. Junior Guard Charles Manning Jr. scored seven and had two rebounds and a block.

Lot of really crappy foul calls on our defense and then they let USC bang us up pretty rough all game. Tough loss. Good effort, though.

Always like how people pick out one thing and "we win". It's always that simple. Anderson for USC was 3-10. Fact is, this team isn't good right now. Maybe they will never be good. Time will tell.
