Brody Miller with the Athletic is reporting that LSU pitcher Kendall Burnett has entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Burnett, a freshman from Solana Beach, California did not play in any games during the canceled season.

So most people understand that Walker and Hughes were asked to move on to try to stay within the roster limits, but you assume this guy is transferring because he didn’t play in year 1?

Mainieri said last week they don't know if the NCAA is going to give them roster relief so he has been meeting with all the players discussing their future prospects, which means he is encouraging some to leave.
