Wilson Alexander with The Advocate reports that LSU and head baseball coach Jay Johnson have agreed to a new seven-year deal worth $12.55 million that will run through 2030.

According to the report, Johnson's new deal will make him one of the highest-paid college baseball head coaches behind Vanderbilt's Tim Corbin.
