The No. 1 Baseball recruit in Louisiana is coming to Baton Rouge.

LSU signee Jake Brown, a left-handed pitcher from Sulphur High School, confirmed on Twitter Tuesday afternoon that he will be joining the Tigers instead of signing with the Texas Rangers after they selected him in the 16th round of the MLB Draft last week.


Brown will join LHP signee Cameron Johnson, who is also forgoing the MLB to join LSU.
