Class of 2027 left-handed pitcher Connor Wells announced his commitment ot LSU on Monday.

The 6-6, 210-pounder from Spartanburg, S.C., has a "90-93 mph fastball and low 80's slider, throwing strikes and dominating," according to Perfect Game.

Connor Wells is a 2027 LHP/1B with a 6-6 200 lb. frame from Spartanburg, SC who attends Dorman. High-waist tall left-handed pitcher with lean muscle and projectable frame to add size throughout. High-belt leg kick with a 3/4 slot release working inline down the slope. Explosive backside release working downhill with riding fastball up to 93 mph at 18 inches of vert. Sweeping slider with depth and arm side extension for swing and miss offering. Developing changeup with willingness to incorporate. Left-handed power arm with the aptitude and starter profile moving forward to dominate opposing lineups. Excellent student.
