BATON ROUGE, La. – The LSU-Western Michigan baseball game will start at 3 p.m. CT Friday in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

The game, originally scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. CT, was moved to 3 p.m. due to concerns about the cold weather forecast in the Baton Rouge area on Friday night.

Game 2 of the series will start at 1:30 p.m. CT Saturday, and Game 3 will begin at 12:30 p.m. CT Sunday, as originally scheduled.

Cold weather? When I was a kid we played baseball in sleet, snow and walked uphill to the game in our short sleeve uniforms..... and was glad to do it.

Lol "due to concerns about the cold weather forecast in the Baton Rouge area on Friday night."

It's a little ridiculous I agree but the "big" difference is not so much the start but where it'll be in the latter part of the game.

We’ll have them 10 run ruled by the 7th. So, we won’t see the later innings.
